International buyers account for about 90 per cent of the current interest and investment in mainland Chinese art. The current estimate for the total Chinese art market (from ceramics to pop art) is about , the cultural ministry estimates is worth about $36 billion a year (Xinhua news agency). The market for Chinese contemporary art is currently one of the most profitable on an international scale, soaring 440% over the past 5 years (www.artprice.com).
Western galleries, especially in Europe, are rushing to sign up unknown painters; artists a year out of college are selling photographic works for as much as $10,000 each; well-known painters have yearlong waiting lists; and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Pompidou Center in Paris are considering opening branches in China.

Cao's original works sell on the internet from $7,000 to $20,000 (and more).
Jiang's original works sell on the internet from $7,000 to $70,000 (and more). Most of his original works are on rice paper.
His limited edition prints range from several hundred dollars to low five figures.

Caroline's original works sell from around three thousand dollars up. A greater majority of her works are painted on
silk in a figurative style.

Ming Feng's orginals are mostly oil on canvas. Prices range on the internet from around $4,000 and up.
