Biography Francis was born in Dublin, Ireland and moved to Israel in 1959. She studied at the Avni Institute in Tel Aviv in the seventies and the school for art teachers in Ramat-HaSharon. Francis' works reflect a time when the world moved at a slower pace and people were much more kind and gentle. Her subjects are predominently women, and show evidence of Renaissance and Moorish influences. Each piece conveys intricate details, beautiful colors and each is magical. Francis' work has been featured throughout Israel, Europe, and North America. |
